B-Bariton (Bb-Euphonium)

Durch den ausschließlich handgefertigten weiten Korpus erhält man eine volle, warme und runde Klangfarbe, eine direkte Ansprache mit wenig Widerstand. Mit dem großen Schallbecher von 31cm besitzt der Klang des Baritons eine große Tragfähigkeit. Der große konische Ventilsatz ermöglicht eine sehr gute Luftströmung. Um unbeabsichtigtes Mitschwingen und eine Verfälschung der Tonfrequenz zu vermeiden, sind die Verbinsungsstützen sehr gut platziert. Durch das "3+1 Ventil-System" ist das Wechseln für den Euphoniumspieler problemlos.

The warmth of the sound, its fullness and rich colour is a result of the exclusively handmade, large bore body, which gives the instrument a direct response with low restistance. Because of the large bell, 31cm in diameter, the instrument has a round, far-projecting sound, and the large bore conical valve set makes it possible for the air stream to flow freely. In order to avoid sympathetic vibrations that could lead to distortion of the tone frequency, the location of the braces has been carefully calculated. The "3+1 valve system" makes it possiblefor euphonium players to change instruments without difficulties.
